    We have many members who have asked us to find a speaker on this topic and we are super excited we found a local Kansas City Metro investor who is highly qualified to help us learn more. As a local real estate investor, building, and developer, Dave Lundgren has completed 100s of successful real estate transactions in the same fashion that most of us here at MAREI are familiar with: wholesale, rehab, rental property, turn key. He and his team also do a few things that are not quite as common: syndication, building new houses (and duplexes), and building groups of houses. They are currently building duplexes out by the Stadiums here in Kansas City. We have asked Dave to join us and share with us what it takes to make the jump from what we are doing today with used houses and move to the build-to-rent space. This might be as a person building infill housing, or a street of duplexes, or even developing something larger. It might be that you will the person in charge, it might be that you might buy a property that someone else has built as a turn-key investment, and it might mean you take part in a syndication of people who are the limited partners in a development.
