As we head into 2023 there are several new laws that Illinois housing providers need to be aware of. Top of the list is the expansion of "Source of Income" as a protected class throughout Illinois. This is a result of the passage of HB2775 last summer.
In this Zoom meeting we will discuss all of the new laws that you need to be aware of. We will probably spend the bulk of the time discussing changes in business practices that will be required by the Source of Income legislation.
We will also be discussing what happened in the Fall "Veto" session that just ended. The next session in Springfield is the "lame duck" session in January.
The discussion will be led by Jane Garvey of CCIA, and Andrew Timms of CIPP.
